Dr. Deborah Fry teaches courses and develops resources to help parents understand their children and learn how to raise more cooperative, responsible children. She gives concrete parenting advice so parents can decrease power struggles with their children, help their kids develop resilience, and teach their children the skills they need to resolve their conflicts in a peaceful manner.
Her talk will focus on children 3-10 years old (Children’s House, Lower Elementary and Upper Elementary) and will also highlight how parents can incorporate the Montessori principles of Intrinsic Motivation, Grace and Courtesy, Autonomy, and Freedom Within Limits in their home.
