Join us for a viewing of Screenagers Next Chapter, an award-winning film that follows
filmmaker and physician Delaney Ruston as she helps us flip the script on stress, anxiety, and depression, understand these challenges in a screen-filled world, and learn how we as parents and educators empower teens to overcome mental health challenges and build emotional agility and stress resilience. We’ll observe approaches in schools that provide strategies beyond the classroom and hear from brain researchers, psychologists and thought-leaders on ways to support mental wellness among our youth. We’ll be joined by Catalyst Counseling clinicians for a short debrief afterwards!
Open to parents and caregivers of children of all ages, and teens & tweens (suggested age is 10 and up) especially welcome.
*The film starts promptly at 2:00; come early to grab a seat and popcorn (our 8th graders will be selling snacks to save for their end of year field trip!).
Suggested donation: $5 per family at the door.
